Our Materials
A worthwhile practice in planet-first thinking.
At Passenger, we know that everything we do has an impact. That’s why we favour recycled and organic materials, mindful processes, and are constantly re-evaluating our approach. We make clothes that’ll join you on your adventures and wild roams, so it’s vital we keep our footprint in mind.
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown without nasty synthetic chemicals or pesticides. It’s fully certified and tracked all the way through the supply chain, from farm to factory.
Recycled Cotton
Our recycled cotton is made using a mix of production offcuts from garment factories, with some lines containing a small amount of post-consumer waste.
Recycled Polyester
Recycled polyester is made of materials that have been used before. They’re shredded and melted down into pellets and reformed into workable polyester yarns.

As part of our commitment to a fair, responsible and transparent supply chain, we’ve made it a priority to map our suppliers and share their stories. We’re working hard to be transparent, sharing more info as we make progress. It’s a long journey, but we trust our heading.
Our Packaging
Made From Plants
Within the brown paper packaging bag (which is fully recyclable), you’ll notice your order from us arrives in a see-through product bag. These bags are made from plant-based sources such as corn starch or sugar cane, rather than traditional synthetic plastic, and can be industrially composted. This means the bag returns to organic matter and can be used to fertilise soil at the end of its life.
To dispose of the bags, simply chuck them in with your food waste or garden waste collection, rather than in your general waste, so they can be composted properly. Pretty cool, huh?

Over the past few years, we’ve worked very closely with conservation partners, Trees for the Future (TREES), who have planted over 300 million trees in the ground since 1989. It’s an incredible multi-step programme—one we’re proud to facilitate.
Rainforest Trust
Through partnerships like ours, the Rainforest Trust can work towards the long-term protection of tropical ecosystems and the wildlife they hold. Allocating 100% of their donations to conservation action across 62 countries.
