So I bought this jacket because I wanted a warm coat that can pack away small, which it does into its little pocket. I do a lot of walking and I find most insulated coats far too hot and end up taking them off after 10 minutes even in cold weather, this one is pretty lightweight, I find it great for being active , I did a walk on the hills in the Scottish Borders in the snow and it was warm enough for me with a few layers underneath. I swing between size 12 and size 14, I decided to buy the large and there’s plenty of room to wear a thick double lined fleece underneath if it’s extra cold, so really it’s pretty roomy! I love the colours! It’s comfy and the hood is a good size and the toggles are sewn into the inside of the hood so my hair doesn’t end up caught in them which is a bonus. basically perfect if you want something warm but quite lightweight as a layer thats doesn’t take up a lot of space if you want to pack it into its pocket and sling it into the bag.. only negative is I wouldn’t really call it showerproof. If it rains more than a vague drizzle then you’ll need your waterproof for sure.

This is just lovely. Soft fabric, cosy, lightweight. 2 zipped pockets on the outside, 1 on the inside. Love the cuffs, which are slightly elastic, or stretchy, but fit around your wrist and don't let the wind in.
It isn't for zero temperatures, but I was looking for something I can wear most of the year in the UK, around 10C to 18C on average. It's OK in slight drizzle, but not really for getting totally wet.
The burnt orange is exactly that. Not bright, but warm looking.
Sizing: I found it spot on. I have several Passenger jackets now, and the L was spot on. I would say I am realistically size 16 and the L was roomy. Occasionally I take M in Passenger, but usually L in the jackets (size 14 in Finisterre for reference). Delighted at the sale price!

I have another Passenger jacket which is also an XL and fits perfectly. This one had to be returned as it is at least a size if not size and a half smaller.
